Several BMW Models and Rolls Royce Ghost Recalled for Circuit Board that Poses a Fire Risk
With an MSRP of around $250,000, the most affordable model in Rolls-Royce's lineup, the Ghost, costs about four times as much as the top (non-M) BMW 5-Series in the States, the 550i (MSRP: $62,000).
Still, that doesn’t mean you won't find common parts in these two models, and not only, as the BMW Group's latest recall proves.

Watch a 9-Year-Old Boy Drift a BMW E30 Racer
We don’t know if Stavros Grillis from the Greek island of Kos is the youngest drifter in the world, but he's surely one of the youngest and he'll no doubt impress you with his driving skills if you take into consideration his age, since we're talking about a child that's only 9 and-a-half years old…
With the help and support of his father, the talented youngster has been practicing drifting since he was seven. One can only imagine how good he will get to be once he grows up if he continues at this rate.

With spring upon us and the temperatures slowly rising in the northern hemisphere, BMW's engineers have no problem opening the top of the next 3-Series Convertible, which like the coupe, you may or may not be forced to call the 4-Series.
Luckily for us, one of our spies was in the right place at the right time to snag more than a dozen photos of BMW's testers opening and closing the electrically operated, three-piece hardtop, which neatly tucks away in the trunk at the touch of a button.

2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe Visualized in New Renderings
The last time our scoop photographers nabbed the 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe, it was undergoing winter tests in northern Europe, with the company’s engineers having cloaked parts of the car in light camouflage.

Notorious: Five Ugly Formula 1 Cars and their Nicknames
January 26th was a day that the international media as well as countless racing enthusiasts had been waiting for since the 2011 Formula 1 season finished two months earlier.
Caterham launched its new challenger, the CT01, and by the evening everyone was talking about one of the car’s features in particular. Located on the CT01’s nose was what can best be described as an awkward-looking step and the press quickly began referring to the design as the “platypus nose.”
Over the course of the following weeks, almost every team on the 2012 Formula 1 grid launched their own version of the design and it became apparent that the “Platypus nose” was here to stay.

BMW تكشف عن طراز M الفئة السابعة BMW M 7-Series
تربّعت "BMW" الفئة السابعة على عرش فئة السيارات الراقية في الشرق الأوسط للسنتين الماضيتين وحقّقت مبيعات إقليمية ممتازة عام 2011، لتصبح الفئة السابعة في قمّة نجاحها. لترسيخ هذه الريادة، كشفت المجموعة عن سيارة "BMW" الفئة السابعة "M Edition" التي ستؤمّن لهذا الطراز الأكثر مبيعاً المزيد من السطوة والاندفاع. ومن المتوقع أن تصل الفئة السابعة "M Edition" إلى المنطقة في شباط من هذا العام وستضمّ مجموعة "BMW M Sport Package" التي تبرز الطابع الرياضي ودينامية الفئة السابعة بدون التغاضي عن منح العملاء فرصة إضفاء بعض اللمسات والتعديلات الخاصة.

New BMW 3-Series Long-Wheelbase Model Heads to the Beijing Auto Show
At the upcoming Auto China Show 2012 in Beijing, BMW will present the world premiere of its long-wheelbase 3-Series sedan, tailored to the needs of Chinese customers who appear to have a thing about extra leg space in the rear passenger area.
The new 3-Series LWB rides on an extended 2,920mm (114.9 inches) wheelbase, which is 110mm (4.3 inches) longer than that of the regular model that is also offered in China, increasing the car's length to 4,734mm (186.4 inches).

After the world premiere of the 2013 M6 Convertible at the New York Auto Show today, BMW announced pricing for an array of new models that will launch in the States later this year. All prices listed below include destination and handling.
First up is the facelifted 2013 X6M that arrives in U.S. dealerships in May with a starting price of $93,795. BMW's crossover model is powered by 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that delivers 555-horses at 6,000 rpm and 680Nm (501.5 lb-ft) of peak torque.

Stock Mercedes SLS AMG Vs. Tuned BMW M6 and Audi RS6
In this week's drag strip battle, we have a stock Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with 571-horses competing against two tuned German sports cars, a previous generation BMW M6 Coupe with 530-ponies and an even more powerful Audi RS6 sedan with 750-horses kicking under its hood.
This time, the number of ponies played their role in the races, though if it wasn't for a bad start, the Mercedes could have won the match with the Audi as well.

Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes on the road at one time or another, but if anything else, when you do mess up and especially if your actions endanger the well-being of another driver or motorcyclist, it's only fitting that, if possible, you at least stop to apologize and see if everything's okay.
Apparently, being polite was too much to ask for a 'King of the Road' in an E46 BMW 3-Series saloon who cut off a motorcyclist near the city of Palo Alto, in California.
Even though the biker was forced to hop over the pavement to avoid the crash, the BMW owner continued as if nothing ever happened!

After the first photos, we now have official details and U.S. pricing for the facelifted 2013 BMW X1, which debut at the New York Auto Show and reach dealerships across the country this fall (and not in the summer, as BMW originally stated).
The X1 will be offered in the States for the first time since its introduction in 2009. It will be available in three models, the rear-wheel drive X1 sDrive28i priced at $31,545, and the all-wheel drive X1 xDrive28i and X1 xDrive35i, priced at $33,245 and $39,345 respectively, with all prices including an $895 Destination and Handling fee.

2013 BMW X1 Facelift Photos Pop Up Online, Coming to the States this Summer
The automotive forecast for today predicts many leaks from all fronts, as the earlier photo showers of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and 2013 Lincoln MKZ continue now with the refreshed 2013 BMW X1, which will be joining the two other models at the New York International Auto Show.
If you're reading this from the U.S., the first thing you'll need to know about the facelifted X1 is that BMW has confirmed that it will be available in showrooms across the country this summer, with prices to be announced soon.
